No turning back on genetically modified foods once their spread around world
Dec 3rd, 2010
The Kelowna Capital News has seen fit to publish another letter as written by Heidi Osterman regarding the state of affairs and how we are set to radically change our market, permanently.
"Bill C-474 will be voted on in Parliament in early 2011. If this bill is not supported, then Canada could become the first country in the world to irreversibly alter wheat and alfalfa by transgenic manipulation."

Dear Christine:
Thank you for providing the information from Heidi Osterman. Gina, my assistant, has been in contact with Ms. Osterman in the past and has informed me about the very important work she is doing. She is indeed to be congratulated for the extraordinary work she is doing to promote safe food that is free of genetic tampering by companies such as Monsanto.
I have no doubt that we will be in close contact with Heidi when Parliament resumes in September, if not before, when the work on Bill C-474 will once again begin in earnest.
Have a good summer,
Alex
When we were published by the local newspaper (thanks guys!) we didn't expect to get a response so quickly, but it's nice to be recognized.
